Too Much Salt

We all know about salt. You put it on french fries, potato chips, pretty much anything your mother-in-law cooks (well, not mine, of course), and foods that just don’t make your tongue dance. Why? ‘Cause it tastes good. Well, technically, that’s actually the result of using salt, but it doesn’t answer the question of why…

Being proactive…

To me, living with your head down all the time is just existing, not living.
Think back on your past a bit and you can easily pinpoint a few times when, had you opened your mouth or stepped up to the plate a little sooner or stood up for that person… well… thing may have turned out differently. You wouldn’t have that nagging regret in the back of your mind.

Before you condemn… think.

“I don’t feel welcome in a regular church,” said Kayla Edwards, 25, who has been to most of Fletcher’s Sunday gatherings. “A lot of churches, I feel judged. Here, I feel welcome – it’s laid back, you can say what you want and no one will be disgusted.”

To Love, and Cherish…

What is your word worth?
If this is hitting you hard, I can’t say I’m sorry. Friend, family member, stranger, whomever you are, I can honestly say I love you too much as a fellow brother to not write this.

When the body ministers to the body…

I used to think God, Family, Work when deciding how to live my life… Now, I see that God is an element in all things of life, not just a singular part.
